There's a QuickTrip convenience store not far from the Center that has a nice little pond behind it so it's not really all that unusual to see ducks and geese hanging around the place. There's a QuickTrip convenience store not far from the Center that has a nice little pond behind it so it's not really all that unusual to see ducks and geese hanging around the place. I spotted this fine feathered creature one day when, fortunately, my camera was in the car.
Mallards have the most gloriously green head feathers of any birds, except perhaps some parrots. What a lovely, lovely creature.
