It is a type of jellyfish. About two years ago Sue and I went out to Monterrey, CA to visit her son and daughter-in-law, and they took us to the Monterrey Aquarium. They had a large special exhibit of jellyfish of all types, many very exotic looking. Some, as you can see, were luminescent. I think there are some other jellyfish photos on that disc I gave you. Strange looking critters aren't they?
