A very interesting observation

Hmmmmm. I never thought about it quite this way before:
"We cannot be present and run our story-line at the same time."

    Would this be why we cannot truly listen and run our story line at the same time? Others know when we are not fully there for them.

    Hmm. Makes sense to me, Carolyn. It would also be reasonable to say that we cannot truly listen without being present. (Which, I suppose, is another way of saying the same thing.)
