No matter what...

Never give up
No matter what is going on
Never give up
Develop the heart
Too much energy in your country is spent
developing the mind instead of the heart
Develop the heart,
Be compassionate
Not just to your friends but to everyone,
be compassionate
Work for peace in your heart and in the world
Work for peace, and I say again
Never give up
No matter what is happening
No matter what is going on around you
Never give up.

-- Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th Dalai Lama

Yes, Yes, Yes! If we give up, we are done for.

  3. I whole-heartedly agree. I've never understood violence, distruction, or suffering. I suppose you could call me 'thick-headed.' Hahaha.

There's too little compassion in this world. My personal prayer is that people stop worrying about the God they pray to and start to worry about the quality of life for each other. God is alright and dandy and I'm sure is doing just fine. So we ought not to worry about God.

More importantly, we have the power to make a difference. If 6.5 billion people cared for the entire world and acted accordingly, I imagine we'd live in an entirely different world.

    Peace,

    Jennifer
