Sr. Ellie, that was BEAUTIFUL!
ReplyDeleteI wondered at first why you had picked this particular chant. Then while I was sitting yesterday morning it came to me that the image of the world dissolving in flames is a perfect reminder of impermanence.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this right now. I have always felt that this might be a better time of year to hibernate, be still, and reflect. The chant helps me to slow my pace at a time of year where it can easily gets out of control. I appreciate your reaching out through this site, especially right now when coming to the center is a challenge. Hope to see you soon!
